Spring Birthday Gift Guide

I'm pretty sure I know more people with birthdays in March and April than the rest of the year combined. Yet to my surprise, September is the most popular month for birthdays. I just googled it.  March is 3rd and April is way down the list. So who knows why all these spring babies surround me, but never fail, every spring, I'm birthday shopping for a bunch of girlfriends, including Teresa, a couple of guy friends, my sister, my dad, my brother-in-law, father-in-law and now the new niece too! Here are some wonderful spring-y gift ideas appropriate for all different sorts of people.
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March. Etsy offers a wide variety of aquamarine jewelry, including the earrings above.  Diamond is the April birthstone, lucky for them, not so lucky for the people who have to shop for them...

Home Brew Kit for the beer lover in your life.

Everyone loves the Capri Blue Candle from Anthropologie and it's extra pretty and perfect for a gift in this mercury glass container. These candles smell wonderful too. Basically, you can't go wrong purchasing a candle at Anthro for a gift. I'm thrilled to get one every time!

Love American Apparel's old school watches.  They have great options for guys and girls. Even colorful Swatches!
Punjammies!  Fair Trade PJs made by women in India who have been rescued from forced prostitution.
A gift with a cause.
Jason and I were introduced to Ladder Ball last summer. I'm terrible at it, but it is fun and a great gift for a friend who spends a lot of time hosting parties in their backyard.

For Teresa's birthday, our good friend Brittany and I put together a bath themed gift. We got this awesome bathtub caddy, good for wine and reading in the tub and added a relaxing candle and some bubble bath and things. Teresa loves baths. She really loved the gift.

I love the idea of doing themed gifts, and there are so many ways you can go with it. Some DVDs popcorn and candy for a movie lover, cute rings and nail polishes for a pretty hand themed present, or perhaps a Mockingjay pin and tickets to Hunger Games.

Who else is shopping for spring birthdays? I want to hear your brilliant present ideas in the comments below!
