Mary Poppins


Were you a big Mary Poppins fan as a kid? I loved that movie growing up, Julie Andrews is such an icon. Have you seen this preview for the new movie about the making of Mary Poppins staring Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as the writer PL Travers. I think it looks pretty cute, I hope it gets good reviews.


PS. What "Tuppence the Birds" means and Buzzfeed's funny (and unsettling) list of why Mary Poppins is actually a pretty messed up movie.
