Sewing a Baby Quilt
Wednesday, May 1, 2013
You might remember I had a blast sewing a kitty baby quilt for my niece Kenedee last winter. I had ambitions of sewing a quilt for my baby boy as well but between pregnancy-fatigue, baby preparations, and a full-time work schedule I just don't think it's going to happen before he gets here. I love the look of the hand sewn quilts pictured above designed by Seattle quilter extraordinaire Katie Pederson, she calls them half-square triangle quilts. I love how modern and bright they are-- maybe I'll get ambitious and do some sewing on my maternity leave --ha!
