Family Photos (better late than never part 2!)

I'm on a "better late than never" kick this month. We had family photos taken by the amazing Zoe Rain back in October for our Christmas card and for some reason I never posted them on the blog. They are so cute I decided might as well just throw them up now. I'm getting very nostalgic with Mylo's first birthday around the corner. It's so cliche but it really does feel like time is flying by.

Rain Diaries

Meet Zoe Rain. She's our JKoe associate photographer and currently traveling around Europe documenting the day to day life of the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis world tour. Zoe's keeping track of her experiences on her blog, Rain Diaries, which I highly recommend you check out. She's taken some amazing photos.

For most of October-December, I'll be joining the tour, along with Jason, and living on a bus crisscrossing the US. Sadly, Jason and I were too booked for September to join the tour in Europe, so I have to live vicariously through Zoe and her blog.

Hair

When you're surrounded by lots of other photographers, occasionally they need someone to pose. So every now and then, I get to be in front of the camera instead of behind it.
A few years back, my friend Zoe did a photo shoot of me inspired by a shot of Twiggy by Richard Avedon. They were snapped in a makeshift studio setup we created in our office late one night.

These were for Zoe's high school photography class. HIGH SCHOOL. She's that talented. The down side of this, one of these shots ended up hanging up in the school. That's right, a photo of me looking like I'm naked hung in a high school (and was on the school website). Awkward.
We recently did a second shoot, in an actual studio (below). Again, I managed to tweak my neck by flipping my hair 100+ times in a row, but totally worth it for awesome photos.
